FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS - ABOUT US

What is our political inclination?

We are and shall remain absolutely apolitical (non-political). We believe that for our organisation to successfully exist, we must remain completely unbiased.

Resultantly, we try to steer away from issues, news updates etc about political and current affair which detract from our primary goal – NOT POINTING FINGERS, BUT SIMPLY THINKING ABOUT SOLUTIONS.

Why only Ideas For Lagos? Why not Ideas For Ogun, Zamfara, or even Ideas For Nigeria?

Ultimately, it is our dream to realise a better country, continent and world as a whole. However until we get there, here are some of the reasons we have focused on Lagos:

  • We are based in Lagos and believe the adage: “Charity begins at home,” makes a lot of sense. Resultantly, we feel we can serve Lagosians better because we empathise with the local conditions.
  • Another saying which we believe makes a lot of sense: “Start small, grow big.
  • We feel our voices are more audible to our local representatives in Alausa than our national representatives in Abuja.
  • Finally and most importantly, we believe more so than any other state in Nigeria, Lagos is unique in terms of how it exists despite its limited infrastructure in relation to its population. It can be argued that the problems faced by other states in Nigeria are not dissimilar to those faced by any other state/province in any other country in Africa, however Lagos is unique on a global perspective.

We are open to providing as much help, information and support to any other citizens who wish to launch similar websites which seek solutions to problems unique to other states and provinces around the world.
